John W. Gillan, D.D.S, M.S.

John W. Gillan, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Gillan graduated from the University of the Pacific followed by Loyola University School of Dentistry. He served for two years in the US Air Force Dental Corps at Williams Air Force Base. He then returned to Chicago to earn his masters degree and specialty certificate in Endodontics. He has been a member of this specialty practice since 1978.

Dr. Gillan has been married to Cindy since 1978. They have three children. Besides his family, friends, and golf, his passion is traveling to developing countries to teach and treat the forgotten peoples. He has been teaching Endodontics annually with a medical-dental team in Albania since 1994. He has also been working with a team of physicians and surgeons out in the bush of Cameroon, Africa since 2005.

Dr. Gillan feels blessed to be part of the team at Endodontic Specialists. The care and pride show through in the staff as patients are treated as they would want to be treated.
